San Polo d’Enza (RE) - Italy

No more beagles entering the gates of hell: turn your rage into action!

INTERNATIONAL DEMONSTRATION AGAINST MORINI FARM

We are tired of animal experimentation, of the devastating effects that chemical drugs have on humans, on the power of multinational corporations on the living world….

We are tired of all those politicians’ promises never accomplished, of those that would like us to wait for others to do something, of the lies we are always told…

We are tired of all the favours that Morini has received so far, helping this evil place sending animals to die in laboratories, of those that closed their eyes not to see al the irregularities, of those that cancelled their huge fines and gave them free protection all the time…

BUT WE’LL NEVER BE TIRED TO SAY IT’S ENOUGH,
AND ACT FOR THE CLOSURE OF THE FARM!

Now it’s a crucial moment, do not miss it.

This is the third march we organise in the small town of San Polo d’Enza, and at the previous ones more than 1000 protesters arrived from all parts of Italy and also form foreign countries, to show their will to close the farm. The marches have been amazing, and we hope this will be even better… but it’s up to you…

Making this march really big is particularly important, since Morini needs the City Council to renew their license to sell dogs at labs, and already a local committee of citizens has emerged, asking to the major NOT to renew it and to close the farm. We, as a movement, will show our demand with this march, with hundreds protesters gathering in the town to shout loudly their disgust.

Remember that in June 2004 the ban that prohibited Morini to sell beagles to labs has been cancelled, and they have remained open on debts for these 2 years just waiting for this moment. Their biggest incomes have always been from the beagles. If the license were to be denied by the major, the farm would be probably closing soon and stop also breeding guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, mice, rats and gerbils for the vivisection industry. This would be a tremendous victory for the animal liberation movement!
Remember that at least 600/700 beagles are still imprisoned inside the horrible sheds of this farm, and the Major could send all of them to die in labs!

**If any activists from abroad are willing to come, please bear in mind there will be the possibility of more demos on Friday and/or Sunday and space to sleep is available.
Contact us as soon as possible.

**We are also asking everyone to contact the City Council asking them not to renew the license, but also adding a statement that you are going to take part at the march in order for them to know that really a huge number of people is going to join the demonstration.
